OLYMPIA, WA – FC Olympia wrapped the holiday season with energy, laughter and plenty of goals by hosting a community co-ed, adult, small-sided soccer tournament last Sunday. The event brought community soccer members together to stay active during the holidays, celebrate local soccer and partake in the simple joy that comes from playing the game with friends and neighbors.
The competition was spirited from start to finish despite the frosty temps. Santa’s H*s claimed first place honors. Soccer Merchants finished a strong second followed by Niki’s Team in third.
Individual accolades added to the festivities, including the Frozen Boot Award for Cody Rebh (most goals), the Ice in His Veins Award for Ben Higgins (GK Award), and the Best Kit Award, which went to Further Post for their custom holiday jerseys.

This tournament wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our local partners Charro Mexican Restaurant, Well 80 Brewhouse, and Ember Goods Coffee. These local sponsors helped make the day a true community celebration. Events like this remind us how powerful sport can be during the holidays; getting people moving, smiling, connecting and building memories together.
