OLYMPIA, WA – As FC Olympia closes the chapter on another memorable year (11 years) we recognize individuals who defined the 2025 season through performance, leadership, creativity and unwavering commitment to the Artesian crest. From record-setting players to first-year coaches and behind-the-scenes leaders, this year’s award winners represent the best of FC Olympia.

Women’s Player of the Year: Ginny Lackey
James Madison University | 12 Goals & 2 Assists
Ginny Lackey’s impact on the 2025 season was undeniable. The James Madison University standout finished the year with 12 goals (club single season record and #2 in USL W). Lackey consistently delivered in the biggest moments and set the tone for FC Olympia’s attacking identity.
Lackey’s combination of technical quality, relentless work rate and composure in front of goal made her one of the most dangerous players in the USL W. Her performance in 2025 embodied what it means to represent FC Olympia at the highest level.

Men’s Player of the Year: Michael Divano
Western Oregon University | 8 Goals & 3 Assists
Michael Divano’s 2025 campaign was marked by consistency, grit and influence across the pitch. Whether driving play, setting the tempo, or delivering in crucial moments, Divano proved to be a cornerstone of the USL League Two franchise.
The single season goalscoring record helped towards FC Olympia scoring the second most goals on the West Cost and made him a clear frontrunner for Men’s Player of the Year. Divano’s presence defined the competitive edge of the Artesian men’s program throughout the season.

Coach of the Year: Kellyn Green
First-Year Head Coach | USL W Division Champion
In her first season as head coach, Kellyn Green delivered the most successful campaign for the club in 2025. Leading the FC Olympia Women to the USL W League National Playoffs and Northwest Division Title, Green was able to deliver another amazing year of USL W soccer.
A first-year head coach achieving national playoff qualification is a testament to Greens talent, dedication and the trust she built within the squad. Even though she has moved to Colorado, we wish her the best in her next coaching endeavors.

Vendor of the Year: Brandon Cartwright
B Cartwright Media
FC Olympia’s growth in 2025 was powered not just by results, but by local storytelling and films—and Brandon Cartwright & B Cartwright Media spearheaded these efforts in another great year of filmmaking and stream.
Brandon achieved his third year in a row for top stream in the USL to filming and producing club content and special projects. Cartwright helped elevate how FC Olympia is seen and experienced by fans near and far. His professionalism, creativity and consistent presence has made him an invaluable partner in capturing the soul of the club and sharing it with the soccer community.

Board Member of the Year: Brad Hanson
FC Olympia is only as strong as its staff and board and no one has given more time, energy and heart to FC Olympia than Brad Hanson. As Board Member of the Year, Hanson is being recognized for his countless hours supporting events, operations and long-term club initiatives.
From his unwavering attention to detail to his leadership in organizing goalkeeper camps and youth development efforts, Hanson’s contributions extend well beyond any single role. His commitment reflects a deep belief in the club’s mission and its impact on the community.
