OLYMPIA, WA – The first full weekend of June was filled with highs and lows for FC Olympia including a record setting crowd for the club which saw 560 guests Saturday at the Regional Athletic Complex pop-up stadium. The USL Women returned the favor with a 6-0 win over border rival Tacoma Galaxy who are owned by the pro arena soccer team the Tacoma Stars.
The USL men dropped both matches, Friday in Bellevue 3-2 and again on Sunday at Snohomish United 2-1. Michael Divano scored twice against Midlakes and Jaggar Judkins would score his first ever goal in an Artesian uniform against United.
The USL Women have only two home matches left including Friday’s match against Bigfoot FC at 7:00PM. Before that though the Artesians face the Tacoma Galaxy once more Tuesday evening in Tacoma. The USL men also travel to the Tacoma Stars next Saturday at Bellarmine Prep.
