OLYMPIA, WA – FC Olympia are a quarter of the way through the 2025 season in both USL franchises as the fourth week of soccer approaches for the Artesians. The USL men have road matches Friday in Bellevue and Snohomish on Sunday while the USL women’s team are hosting a “Community Meet and Greet“ Saturday June 7 at the next home match against the Tacoma Stars women’s franchise at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey, Washington.
The USL Women recently cracked the National Top 10 Rankings coming it at #10 after their most recent 2-1 win against majority University of Washington Women’s soccer team playing for the West Seattle Rhodies. Highlights from the match can be viewed on the FC Olympia’s YouTube Channel.

Next 10 Days for USL Women
The #10 Nationally Ranked USL Women have a pair of matches against cross regional rival the Tacoma Stars women’s team. The border war begins this Saturday June 7th at home, 6:00PM kickoff. The team then heads on the road to play at Bellarmine Prep to complete the series against the Stars organization.
Bigfoot FC women come to the Regional Athletic Complex on Friday June 13 before a road match Wednesday June 18th in Eugene, OR. All teams FC Olympia are facing in the next 10 days of matches are in the bottom of the Northwest table standings.
Next 10 Days for USL Men
The men continue their long road series after two positive match points acquired in Portland and West Seattle last weekend. The team heads to Bellevue to kickoff against Midlakes who beat first place NW division leader Snohomish United. Quick turnaround for the men as they then head to Snohomish on Sunday June 8 to play on the grass-farm pitch of Stocker Fields.
The team will close its arduous road series at Eugene, Oregon on June 17th in the brand new Civic Stadium renovation against Lane United.

Staff Announcements
FC Olympia brings on two more staffers to the club. Ben Willis recently left his pro soccer coaching duties at Lexington SC for the head women’s coach position at South Puget Sound Community College. Willis went 9-0-1 as head coach of the USL W franchise from FC Olympia in 2024 and clinched a USL W League National Playoff.
Kurt Gress, longtime local soccer enthusiast and Wembley Soccer Shop owner joins the Cascadia Premier League (CPL) technical staff. Gress has been supporting the Artesians for years via soccer jerseys, merchandise and equipment. He and CPL Head Coach Luke Comstock picked up their first league win against Washington Premier at Tenino High School 3-0 last Sunday.
