USL Chapter Closes, Summer Clinics Open, Club Preparing for Oly Arena

The 2026 USL W League season has officially come to a close for FC Olympia after years of placing at the top of the Northwest Division this season saw the Artesians finish in the lower half of the table against one of the strongest collections of clubs in the country. This included Salmon Bay FC who ultimately took the 2026 NW division title with over a dozen players from FC Olympia’s previous year 2025 squad.

Despite the results FC Olympia and new head coach Seth Spidahl continued their commitment to providing high level competition for collegiate athletes from across the world including Manchester City Academy players, DI All Americans across the USA and NWSL ID players. The club thanks its players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who stood behind the team throughout the summer.

Oly Arena Shaping Up

As the outdoor season winds down the club’s attention now shifts towards one of its biggest projects ever with the OIy Soccer Arena. Construction efforts continue as FC Olympia works toward an August 2026 opening for the new indoor facility.

The current focus is raising funds to complete the installation of the new turf playing surface and community support will play a major role in bringing the project across the finish line. Donations of any size help move the project closer to becoming a year around home for soccer, camps, youth & adult leagues and community events or Thurston County.

Summer Half Day Clinics & Full Day Camps

FC Olympia’s camps and half day clinics are in full swing at the Regional Athletic Complex giving players of every age and ability a chance to improve their skills while having fun.
