Final 2026 Home Match Features Foam Cannon Party June 20, USL W Beats Tacoma Stars Women

OLYMPIA, WA – The countdown is on for one of the biggest nights of the summer as FC Olympia hosts its final USL Men’s home match of the 2026 season on Saturday June 20th at 6:30PM against Midlakes United (Bellevue).

Fans can look forward to an unforgettable Foam Cannon Party featuring a giant foam cannon, lawn games, food trucks and plenty of family fun. With sunny weather in the forecast it’s the perfect way to celebrate the final USL men’s match of the year and the official start of summer.

Kids 12 and under are admitted FREE making this one of the best family entertainment values of the season. Fans planning to jump into the foam are encouraged to bring a towel, a change of clothes and be ready for a night they’ll never forget.

USL W League FC Olympia Thump Tacoma Stars Women’s Team

The Oly USL W League squad delivered another strong performance at home earning a 2-0 victory over Tacoma Stars Women.

Leading the way was standout goalkeeper Azul Alvarez who recorded the shutout. Alvarez currently serves as a goalkeeper with the Mexico U23 Women’s National Team and Baylor University and continues to showcase her talent between the posts for FC Olympia.

Fans and aspiring goalkeepers will have an opportunity to learn from top level coaching as Alvarez hosts a three-day Goalkeeper Clinic beginning June 22 at the Regional Athletic Complex. Morning sessions 9-1030AM will run for three consecutive days. Registration is open now at fcoly.com.

The Cascadia Premier League women beat Washington Premier FC 3-1 behind goals from Libby Raymond, Brooke Streeter and Peyton Rhyne. Olivia Brock got the start in goal for the Artesians.

UEFA Youth Summer Camp Begins June 22

Summer programming is underway with exciting opportunities for young players of all ages.

UEFA licensed youth coach Scott Nelson who has studied and coached within academy systems in Barcelona and Austria will lead two weeks of special (five day, half day) training camps beginning the weeks of June 22 and July 13.

In addition FC Olympia will offer weekly summer camps throughout the season led by Coach Peyton Rhyne, longtime summer camp manager with the Artesians organization.

The Artesians will also be participating in the FIFA Olympia-Lacey Fan Zone at Port Plaza in downtown Olympia during the USA vs. Australia match.
