FC Olympia USL Men Earn Crucial Home Victory

OLYMPIA, WA — FC Olympia and head USL League Two coach Luke Sandblom picked up a much needed three points Friday night in front of a small Artesian faithful at Well 80 Pitch at the Regional Athletic Complex defeating Bigfoot FC 3-0.

The Artesians came out flying and rewarded the home supporters with two first half goals. Cooper Schneider opened the scoring before Connor Louden doubled the advantage giving FC Olympia a comfortable lead heading into halftime. Niclas Becker who got the starting nod in goal for FC Olympia had a couple early first half saves to keep the back in check.

In the second half Michael Divano came off the bench and put the finishing touch on the evening adding the third goal via a breakaway to seal the victory and send the Artesians faithful home happy.

The win marks an important step forward for FC Olympia after a challenging start to the season that featured several tightly contested matches that could have gone either way. Friday’s performance showcased the quality and resilience of the squad as they continue to build momentum in league play.

USL W: Tough Night Against Snohomish United

FC Olympia’s USLW side suffered a difficult 7-0 defeat against Snohomish United.

Snohomish United features players from the nationally ranked Crossfire ECNL program a club that has become one of the premier youth development organizations in the country with over a dozen division one bound athletes.

For FC Olympia it has been a challenging start to the USL W campaign. After winning the division three consecutive seasons. The Artesians currently find themselves near the bottom of the table alongside Bigfoot FC.

Summer Camps Registration Open

FC Olympia Summer Camps are back and running from June 15 through August 14.

Longtime camp manager Peyton Rhyne returns to lead another exciting summer of soccer development for players of all ages and abilities.
