OLYMPIA, WA — FC Olympia announced Thursday the first two signings ahead of the 2026 USL W League season welcoming Tori Peters and Sophia Mayne to the Artesians.
Both players come from the FC Olympia path to pro local partnership with Washington Premier Football Club as both are currently competing at the NCAA Division I level. Mayne and Peters are continuing Washington Premier’s mission of providing a clear path-to-pro opportunity for elite players in the south end of the Puget Sound.
Peters brings valuable league experience entering her third USL W League season after playing two previous seasons and logging several hundred minutes in both campaigns. Her familiarity with the Northwest Division level of play will come in handy for Head Coach Seth Spidahl.
Mayne also joins the club with USL W League experience having played a season with the Galaxy. Combined with her strong track record at Washington Premier and her robust freshmen year minutes at the collegiate level Mayne will be a key player in 2026.
The signings highlights the growing collaboration between FC Olympia and Washington Premier; a collaboration focused on developing high-level talent pathways from youth to professional.
FC Olympia has seen over 30 athletes in the last three years sign pro contracts.
With division alignment now officially announced and the full season schedule expected to be released in the coming weeks, excitement continues to build around the upcoming summer.
