OLYMPIA, WA — FC Olympia is proud to announce the signing of Michael Divano marking the first USL League Two player signing – an honored player in club history and major USL Two team record holder for the Artesians.
Divano joins FC Olympia after one of the most productive seasons in the USL League Two Northwest Division emerging in 2025 as one of the league’s most dangerous attacking players. The Gonzaga University transfer who previously starred at Western Oregon University recorded eight goals and three assists setting an FC Olympia single-season scoring record while helping fuel one of the most potent attacks in the division.
“Divano is a willing learner and very coachable” said USL Two Head Coach Seyti Sidibay. “He had a wonderful season for us in 2025 and has a knack for scoring goals and scored very important goals for us. I can’t wait to have him back on the team.”
FC Olympia finished the 2025 campaign with the second-most goals scored in the USL League Two Northwest Division (28 goals) trailing only behind Ballard FC who eventually won the West Coast Championship and placed second at nationals out of 150 teams nationwide — a testament to the club’s attacking identity and Divano’s impact in the final third.
Divano is deeply familiar with the Northwest soccer landscape. Prior to joining FC Olympia he competed in USL League Two with Junction FC in West Seattle during the 2024 season and has continued to sharpen his game across multiple Pacific Northwest pre-professional teams.
“Divano had a breakout year for FC Olympia last summer” said USL2 Assistant Coach Jay Smith. “Divano is a Washington Premier ECNL alumni that has kept improving during his college career. I truly expect him to be one of the most dangerous attacking players this season.”
With Divano leading the attack FC Olympia looks ahead to the upcoming season focused on continuing its rise in the Northwest Division.
