OLYMPIA, WA – Few players embody perseverance, professionalism, and community impact the way Mariah Lee does. Her journey from the Pacific Northwest to the top of women’s professional soccer has taken her around the world — but 2025 stands as the most defining year of her career.
In her first season with Vancouver Rise in Canada’s new pro women’s soccer league (Northern Super League, NSL), Lee delivered one of the most electrifying offensive campaigns in the league. That elite production helped fuel Vancouver Rise through the playoffs and straight into history. She also became one of the top statistical leaders in the NSL, finishing the season:
- Top 5 in Goals
- Top 3 in Total Points/Production
- Among NSL Leaders in Assists and Chances Created
Lee & Vancouver Rise Are First-Ever NSL Champions
The NSL’s inaugural year was filled with storylines, but none bigger than Vancouver’s rise to the top. Led in part by Lee’s relentless two-way play, creative spark, and leadership, Vancouver captured the first-ever NSL Championship, cementing themselves — and Mariah — as pioneers in Canada’s new pro women’s soccer era.
Mariah Lee was pivotal in SemiFinal win as she provided the late game assist that took the game to overtime and subsequent win over Ottawa.
