OLYMPIA, WA- The Artesians opened USL regular season play in both the W League (women) and USL League Two division (men) over the weekend in front of local crowds at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey.
The USL women who are two-time division champions would go on to a 6-0 win over Lane United (Eugene, OR) which included a hat trick from Noel Blain. The men would drop their USL season opener against longtime rival Ballard FC 3-0 which included a late penalty goal from the visiting Seattle squad.
