OLYMPIA, WA – The Artesian ladies lost against Bellingham in the Evergreen State College Pavilion last Saturday in what would be their final match of the Northwest Premier League (NWPL) season but also the clubs last game ever in the facility. The mood was somber with ten years of memories closing out the season but included the induction of Olivia Brock into the Oly Soccer Hall of Legends for her fantastic play over the last 5 years including a Cup Trophy in 2022 with her game winning save in the final shootout of the NWPL.

Artesians and club sponsors however created buzz and smiles as several prizes, gift cards, replica jerseys, scarves, food, drinks and good times were had to close out the last ever game.

Bellingham United needed three points and a victory to move ahead of the Tacoma Galaxy to get the two seed into the women’s Northwest Premier League Championship. The Artesians at one point were only down one goal with two minutes left on the clock. The final whistle blew and the arena soccer chapter closes in the pavilion.

The season ended with the Artesian women losing all matches while Snohomish Sky will take on Bellingham United in the final held February 27, 2024 at the Snohomish Soccer Dome.
