Bellingham, Washington – The Oly Town Artesian Men dropped a close match against Bellingham United to mark the end of the regular season. The Artesians needing a win or draw to secure their first ever home playoff in club history was erased as United won 6-5 in from of a raucous “Hammers” crowd.
The Artesians blanked Bellingham in the 4th period to launch a comeback scoring two goals and adding a sixth attacker in the final minute of the match but the final whistle blew signaling Bellingham’s 2nd Place finish and first round of playoff bye and the Artesians into a road playoff match next weekend.
The Artesian men travel to South Sound FC as the #5 seed in the Western Indoor Soccer League playoff. The game will be held at the Tacoma Indoor Soccer Center. Time and tickets are TBD. Stay tuned for roster updates and more.

Olympia, Washington – The Artesian women hosted the Oly-Pen Force from Bremerton and played in front of a loud crowd of local fans. Unable to respond to the offensive salvos the Force unloaded the Artesians fell 11-5.
The first half seemed to be within reach at only a 3-goal deficit but Sierra Sanchez (2 goals) and former Artesian Niki Covert (3 goals) provided relentless Oly-Pen offense against the Oly Town back line. Artesian keeper Olivia Brock recorded 19 saves on the night making several amazing stops.
