The Oly Town Indoor Roundtable crew discusses the future of Oly Town Arena Soccer and Olympia Indoor Soccer. The information in this episode pertains solely to indoor soccer and not USL outdoor programs or youth outdoor soccer events currently offered by Oly Town.
The Artesians embark on their 10-year anniversary of existence within the confines of indoor soccer however the future is unknown with today’s announcement that Oly Town can no longer operate indoor soccer at the Evergreen State College Pavilion starting spring 2024. Oly Town & Olympia Indoor Soccer will need to cease all indoor soccer programs in March as we have been asked to remove our indoor soccer field from the Pavilion. Evergreen intends to re-purpose the pavilion for student-athlete use only.
The impact is large in that starting March 15, 2024 this cancels all youth indoor soccer leagues, youth indoor clinics, adult community indoor leagues such as women’s indoor soccer, coed leagues, men’s open and your Oly Town Artesian Arena squads.
It also leaves a hole for many Oly Town faithful who enjoy coming to the “IceBox” to cheer on our communities athletes!

WAYS YOU CAN HELP!
- Help the Artesians find clearspan space right now in Thurston County! We are amenable to leasing space for the next few years till new construction can begin!
- Ask local businesses to support Oly Town via sponsorship or property leads so we can get a new indoor soccer space going!
- Buy your season tickets whether its outdoor, indoor, etc. Season Tickets are what pay for fields, coaching, equipment, jerseys, etc. We have the lowest season ticket volume in all of USL in the Northwest. Help change that!
- Sign up for remaining Oly Town Indoor Clinics & Kickaround Leagues – same with USL Outdoor Clinics! It all helps support the infrastructure of coaches, fields and equipment!
- Ask your local influencers to help get our word out that we need to find a new indoor soccer field home (we own the field, boards and glass) WE CAN MOVE ASAP!
- Attend the final Artesian matches ever in the Pavilion! We will have special guests in our final men’s and women’s home games!
