OLYMPIA, WA – The Oly Town Artesians announced Wednesday their return to the USL W League in the summer of 2024. The Artesians are coming off a banner year in the USL W going undefeated in the Northwest Division in 2023 and earning the #1 seed in the USL National Playoff.
Oly Town fielded a number of collegiate division one athletes as well as professional athletes like Mariah Lee who signed another professional soccer contract shortly after her stint with the Artesians at Adelaide United in Australia. Lee played with the OL Reign, Celtic and Sporting Huelva prior to playing in Olympia, WA.
Emma Eddy from the Oregon Ducks signed a pro contract with Lefkothea in Cyprus meanwhile Emily Bunnell signed a contract with Clube de Albergaria in Spain. USL W League is a path to professional summer league for college soccer players designed to get players competitive looks for the next level of play in their soccer careers.
The Artesian women’s technical staff is asking players from around the country and abroad to fill out player interest forms to gauge team needs and trials for the 2024 USL W League season.
